It gives me great pleasure to announce another big event in regard to Autism in Islamabad . Our member Major Umair who is the Co-ordinator for our Autism resource Centre (ARC) Islamabad has organized this event and I would strongly encourage members to attend and make his efforts fruitful.

One Day Seminar in collaboration with National Institute of Special Education Islamabad, on Autism on Thursday, 4th Jun 2009.

Major objectives of the seminar are:

• To create awareness among the parents & community regarding importance of Autism, its features and treatment.
• To disseminate maximum information among masses about the autistic children.
• To create awareness about the importance of change in teaching approaches for autistic
children.
• Guidance and counseling of the parents.
