A new logo/brand was created over late 2011 and early 2012 to help define who Greater Chattanooga Aspies (GCA) is. I am organizing an old but new Asperger group; however, this will be for males who have significant others with Asperger’s. In my research, all of the groups that I found were either parents who had children with Aspergers or women who have a significant other or children (or both) with Aspergers. So to complete the circle, I am starting a support group for males who are in a relation with a female Aspie or who has a child or children who are Aspies but cannot find a male bonding/ support group. …

I am starting this group to help connect families with special needs children. I am hoping to find a great group of families that can help take on the world together. Whether we have an in home play date or an outing to the pool/park, we can go together, help support each other, and raise awareness!!!
"Only special people get special kids." Accepting that your child is different is hard, but not impossible. Just like in any situation, it will be easier to relate to those who are in a similar situation. Autism is no longer a rare diagnosis, and it is incredibly hard to know where to go or what to do after a doctor tells you that your child has autism. Hopefully, we can all guide each other. We will meet up for play dates and dinner. We will set up group therapy sessions for decent prices (beca …

I am starting this group to help support those who are in close relations to adults with aspergers. This meeting will only be for the NT adult. I am divorcing my husband of 12 years who is undiagnosed. My seven year old has been diagnosed with aspergers. There is a lot of support for children with aspergers but I haven't seen much …
